Biche, l’ancien thonier, à l’entrée de Port-Tudy, lors de son grand retour chez lui, à Groix, avant sa restauration à l’ancienne. Michel Thersiquel a suivi pas à pas la construction à l’identique de toute une flottille de bateaux de travail traditionnels. C’était une « figure » bien connue des fêtes maritimes sur toute la côte bretonne et en particulier celles de Brest et Douarnenez qu’il n’aurait manquées à aucun prétexte. Il a accompagné le mouvement du revival initié et soutenu par Le Chasse Marée, l’incontournable magazine des amoureux des vieilles coques.

BICHE, THE FORMER TUNA SEINER AT THE ENTRY OF PORT-TUDY

The former tuna seiner, Biche, at the entry of Port-Tudy, throughout its big return to its homeland Groix, before its traditional restoration. Michel Thersiquel followed every step of the construction of a whole flotilla of traditional workboats. He was a figure well known to the maritime feasts around the Breton coast and particularly to the ones in Brest and Douarnenez, that he wouldn’t have missed for the world. He accompanied the “revival” movement, started and supported by Le Chasse Marée, the inescapable magazine of the old hulls lovers.

Michel Thersiquel hat den Bau einer Flotte von traditionellen Fischerbooten Schritt für Schritt verfolgt. Er war eine bekannte Persönlichkeit bei den Meeresfesten an der gesamten bretonischen Küste und insbesondere in Brest und Douarnenez, Feste, die er auf keinen Fall verpasst hätte. Er hat bei der Bewegung „revival“ mitgemacht, die von „le Chasse Marée *“gegründet und unterstützt wurde * Chasse Marée : eine Zeitschrift für die Liebhaber der alten Fischerboote.
